final project

Why do most people shop at Zumiez rather than other stores????
Frank Pinto who provides us with good information about marketing researcher this quarter; wanted his student to make a survey for any store you chose. The survey had to include ten good questions that you came up with. At first I did like this project but I learned a lot from this project. I know what people looking for whenever I choose to open my store. I know to do a survey to see what people want in a store first. But back on topic, so I pick Zumiez In the galleria mall. Why, I chose this store because this is one of my favorite store and they should know what the customer wants and needs. I had one week to come up with ten good questions about Zumiez. I got that done less in two hours, the question I pick was, what is your approximate age, because they should know the age of their customers. The next question is Indicate your marital status, within what price range you spend at Zumiez? What was the MAIN reason you visited Zumiez?
, What do you shop for at Zumiez? Which feature is the most important to you when buying shoes? What your favorite brand of decks? How easy was it to find a particular item you were looking for? The hard part was to go to the store in ask them can i give a survey to your customers; but they said yes that must be a lucky day for me. I also had to survey 50 people thats a lot of people but I can do it with no problem. I have everything plan out great. i went up to the store the next day to talk to the manager name Lisa. She helps me a lot with this whole project. At first some people didn’t want to do it; but when I tell me it’s was for my final project. They were pretty happy and said it was a pretty cool project. I learned a lot from this project and Zumiez they learned a lot about the customer. I really learn a lot from my teacher without him teaching this class I would never did this project a lot or would never think about doing it.

week 9-eoc network

The movie we watch in class was about secondary research and marketing. Secondary research can come from either internal or external sources. The of web search engines has increased opportunities to conduct secondary research without paying fees to database research providers. in the movie they used a lot data that they got from rating to see how should they run there station. with the information you can gather you can see things are. in the movie they also use marketing research. marketing research is to provide management with relevant, accurate, reliable, valid, and current information. Competitive marketing environment and the ever-increasing costs attributed to poor decision making require that marketing research provide sound information. Sound decisions are not based on gut feeling, intuition, or even pure judgment. these two thing come in hardly when ever you need to find information about any company or to see what people like. this movie won a lot awards. its also have a lot of other show taking clips from it and also cartoons. You can some what related this movies to today. why, is that whenever you turn on the tv thats the only you see is bad things never the see good. but thats what people want to see. thats why it stays on the air because people don't want to see the good things in life ; only care about the bad and the corrupt. thats i think the news networks do good marketing

boc week 9 nielsen rating

what is nielsen rating i dont know. this what i found on Wikipedia.com.That Nielsen ratings are audience measurement systems developed by Nielsen Media Research, in an effort to determine the audience size and composition of television programming in the United States. Nielsen Media Research was founded by Arthur Nielsen, who was a market analyst whose career had begun in the 1920s with brand advertising analysis and expanded into radio market analysis during the 1930s, culminating in Nielsen ratings of radio programming, which was meant to provide statistics as to the markets of radio shows. In 1950, Nielsen moved to television, developing a ratings system using the methods he and his company had developed for radio. That method has since become the primary source of audience measurement information in the television industry around the world.
